Engines Do Not Need Flushing Anymore!

Mr. Swan was using an old 1980 Buick until recently. The engine was running fine and he was very particular about getting it flushed properly every time he went for an oil change. The flush was indeed useful as it washed out all the carbon, gunk and other deposits in the engine.

The mechanic would pour a cleaning chemical in the engine which loosened the sludge and it got drained out with the old oil. This cleaned the engine inside out and the new oil stayed clean as well.

Now that Mr. Swan has moved to a new Honda CR-Z, he presumed that the engine would need regular oil change and flushing too. Imagine the astonishment when a service technician told him that the vehicle would not require an oil change before 3000 to 5000 miles or even more!

To his complete surprise, the guy informed him that modern engines did not need flushing at all as long as the engine oil is changed regularly as per the maintenance schedule. In fact, flushing can harm the engine unnecessarily and void the warranty on engine problems following a flush!

The technician further reiterated that Royal Purple lubricants were the best when the time came for an oil change and can be easily sourced from Lucky7trucks.com. This would keep the engine running smoothly and the vehicle would never need an oil flush at all!
